A preview of what I'm currently working on. I've put 16+ hours into this... god I'm so tired.

At this level, no one can even see any of the details... at all. It looks like shit. BAAAAAAAAAA

The right arm is completely unfinished as I have to put a brace around the wrist, and still draw the hand grasping his whip.

OH AND NEEDS MOAR LEGZ

As for influence, I'm just basing his style off of the cover art of Castlevania III.

Luis said I'm insane for doing this, since the original sprite has literally nothing on it.

Hahahaha, just wait until you've seen what I did with the shoulder pads. The level of detail just got even more rediculous. I am finished with the shoulder pads now, and working on the bracer and right hand. After that, I'll do the whip and shoulder pad chain, and post the work in progress with maybe a close up or something.
