Today we lost one of the great artists of any genre.
Frank Frazetta died today.
And that sucks.
He was up there with some of my favorites, Ernie Chan, Bill Sienkiewicz, and Alex Toth.
What a tragic loss.
I'll have to revisit some fantasy art and think of him when I do so.
Who are your inspirational artists?

He was a legend already... Now we can only miss him... I suppose... Damn.

Who the hell would need to defend Ernie Chan? One look at his run on Conan cemented him as a forerunner for incredible line work well early on.

I love Alex Ross but really have never seen him do much beyond his comic work. I'm not saying that's a drawback but I'd love to just see him paint something that isn't spandex.
